
This lively marinade is excellent for red meats and pork. The marinade requires no more than 15 minutes to
infuse full flavors.
4 kiwifruit
2 shallots
One-quarter cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons ginger
2 tablespoons garlic
2 tablespoons lemongrass
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup sesame oil
4 pieces star anise
Puree all ingredients except oils and star anise in blender. Add oils and star anise. Place meat or pork in a shallow pan, pour marinade
over and let stand for 15 minutes. Remove
meat from marinade. Refrigerate meat for one
hour or more before preparing.
